GH2-M – Metallic High Pressure Pump (Gas Operated)

Sandpiper’s GODD Pumps, the GH2-M, is a natural gas-operated high-pressure pump that offers a robust construction for demanding oil and gas applications, such as condensate injection and long discharge runs of pipe. The high pressure pump utilizes its thick-wall castings in stainless steel and cast iron, the G-Series Pumps by Sandpiper are created to handle natural gas while allowing for complete ground-ability. A partnership between Sandpiper and the Canadian Standard Association (CSA®) to lead the development of the first-ever safety certification for gas-operated pumps. The concerns surrounding the application is the potential of static electricity build up due to material and product movement which the release of these static discharge in these applications could lead to a sparking that could lead to a flash fire and potential explosion. The CSA specification sets standards to prevent static electricity accumulations as well as standards for burst pressure; heat resistance, leakage and upper and lower temperature operation.
