The Instrument Programmer is an advanced configuration tool used for a variety of Alfa Laval instrumentation configuration tasks, from setting the level switch, over pressure and temperature transmitter to the conductivity transmitter.

The instrument programmer is a specialist utility that is used to customize a wide range of Alfa Laval instruments:
- Level switch (TE67O)
- Pressure transmitter (TE67L)
- Temperature transmitter (TE67G)
- Conductivity transmitter (TE67K)
- Potentiometric level transmitter (TE67H).
The programmer is powered and controlled by a regular PC with a USB port.
The Instrument Programmer’s unique feature is its ability to be removed from the PC and transferred to a remote location for monitoring and reconfiguring the Alfa Laval instrument. The inbuilt LC-display allows the user to observe an instrument’s current configuration for control purposes.

The program is written in FDT-container technology and each instrument is equipped with a DTM-based software driver. The Alfa Laval Instrument Programmer is a stand-alone software tool featuring integrated help menus for ease of installation and operation. In case a user wants to utilize an FDT-container program, this software can run any DTM. The configuration provided can be saved by using a file name selected by the user. A print facility is available for making hard copy records.
